The different disease of the lungs that are caused by bacteria
One of the important essential organs that are responsible for the oxygen flow in and out is the lungs and if any part of the lungs is damaged it means that there is an infection that is damaging the lungs.
It is one of the major health issues worldwide is lungs infections. In most cases, it is caused by bacteria, virus, and allergies.
Tuberculosis and lung infection
Tuberculosis is caused by bacterium tuberculosis, and it is known to be a life-threatening disease. In most cases, it affects the lungs, but also it can some other parts like the kidney and brain, among others.
The infected germs can enter a person in the lungs through cough and sneezing when one comes into contact with an infected person. The result of this is inflammation of the alveoli of the lungs, and the bacteria will grow in numbers; thus, the lungs will not function as requires.
Diphtheria and lung disease
It is caused by Corynebacterium diphtheria; thus, it is a bacterial infection. The membranes of the respiratory tract are affected the most, and the condition is known as respiratory diphtheria.
The results of this disease will lead to respiratory failure. An infected person will experience lung inflammation, which is caused by filling the lungs with a small tiny particle of the membrane. With this, a patient lung may not function properly, thus resulting in lung disease.
Legionnaires Disease and Lung Infection
This disease is also called legionellosis. It is a severe disease that is caused by bacteria that is known to belong to a particular group called Legionella species. It mainly affects the lungs, and it is a type of pneumonia.
Pneumococcal Meningitis
It is caused by either a virus or bacteria called bacteria pneumococcal and affects the lung. When a person inhales germs, one can be infected and cause respiratory system blockage that it leads to the lung infection.
Pneumonia and Lung Disease
This disease is mostly diagnosed by swelling or inflammation of the lungs. Bacteria and virus can enter the lungs when one breathes, and as a result, it would lead to infection like flu or even pneumonia.
One becomes weak once the infection enters the body; thus, a person who is suffering from flu, there is a considerable risk of getting pneumonia.
Streptococcus is the bacteria that causes the infection. When the bacteria are inhaled into the lungs, they settle, and the lungs will become their habitat. Alveoli are always infected, and as a result, there is inflammation, and the alveoli are filled with fluid like the pus and the mucus; thus, the breathing becomes hard for a person. When the lung fails, it treated a person’s life that it may cause death.
