5 Most Common Types of Infectious Diseases in Children

Infection diseases and illness are caused by pathogens or microbes. All germs like bacteria, fungus, virus and parasites do not cause infections. some host bacteria live on the skin, nose, gut, eyelids and mouth. These bacteria called flora and help un in many ways.
Fever and runny nose are very common problems among babies and children. Parents are quite concerned with children about cough, cold, sore throats, fever and rashes along with ear infections. some children have frequent diarrhea followed by vomiting.
Infection is the effects of a foreign organism in the body. The type of infection depends on pathogen as very microbe react differently in the body resulting in different kind of disease in the human body.

Some infectious diseases that can affect the children are:
1. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)
RSV is the infection of the airway which is not serious in many cases. But if the infected child is under two years or he or she has lung disease and some heart complication. Which show a weak immune system of the child. In such cases, the virus can affect the immune system by attacking the lungs and result in Pneumonia.

1. Viral Gastroenteritis

This Infectious Diseases caused by viruses, the norovirus and rotavirus which cause gastroenteritis problems. It is the inflammation of stomach and intestine typically developed from bacterial and viral infection. It is also term as stomach flu.
The symptoms are watery diarrhea, abdominal cramps, vomiting and nausea and in some cases fever. The patient also experience heads aches and muscular aches.
It is epidemic disease highly contagious transfer from an infected person or ingesting of contaminated food and water.
The main focus is to treat the dehydration by taking plenty of fluids. In mild cases over the counter hydration medication helps. And take such food who prevent the inflammation.

3. Influenza
Influenza is commonly known as flu and most contagious disease among other infections. this infectious disease is caused by an influenza virus. It is respiratory illness and symptom ranges from mild to sewer.

The Symptoms start from fever followed by headaches, muscles aches, tiredness and include loss of appetite. Later on, the symptoms of tenderness and swelling of salivary glands also appear. Which cause puffy cheeks and tender jaw in one or both of sides.
The disease shows show severe signs in people in teenagers. There are few complications such as hearing loss are reported but it is quite reared.
