Coming to his career even though he was well known for being a journalist he also taught I high school and served as press secretary of attorney general Lionel Murphy during Whitlam government. In early 90s he wrote some books and his latest book is “The world from down under” his best selling book was “the world from Islam” which was published in 2004, and it was all about Islam’s diversity, he also wrote a book about Italy called “The world from Italy” in 2001 which was about Italian football, food and politics.
