Kobler attended Sandy Run a middle school in Dresher Pennsylvania from there Pennsylvania’s Upper Dublin High School. Kolber, in 1986 achieved a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Telecommunication from the University of Miami. While studying Kolber worked as a sports director at Dynamic Cable in Coral Gables, Florida. She was also part of the UM Water Ski team. Once Kolber graduated she worked as a videotape coordinator at CBS Sports in New York City.

Kolber produced the 5:30 p.m. ET sportscast at WTVJ-TV in Miami from 1985-1989 and was also awarded state Sports Emmy around 1988. After leaving WTVJ-TV she freelanced for a year as a special’s producer for WPLG-TV in Miami as well as producing two magazine shows one in Miami, Florida – Greyhound Racing America and the other Irving, Texas- Cowboys Special Edition. Kolber’s freelance career was very prosperous including working as a reporter/producer for Breeders’ Cup Newsfeed in Greenwich, Connecticut; Inside Edition’s field producer in New York City; WCIX-TV sports specials producer and an NFL Films sports director. Kolber also landed a weekend sports anchor role and weekday feature reporter at WPEC-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida in December of 1991 and would work there until her big break came in the shape of an ESPN sports anchor in 1993.
Once on ESPN Kobler’s career really did take off. She was given both field and on-site reporter positions covering a variety of sports and events including Superbowl 2006 and the French Open Tennis competition from 2004-2006. This showed the sporting world that she was a force to be reckoned with and then a major breakthrough came. Kobler landed herself a hosting role on Monday Night Football just as the show changed day and name. After years in the field however, it was reported that Kobler requested more studio-based work to ensure she was close to her family. That is when she became the host of NFL-32 (now NFL insider) a football show that was aired daily for the NFL fans.
From then she covered the Nextel and Busch series NASCAR competitions in 2007 and then in 2014 Kobler became a step-in host for Monday Night Countdown after ill health caused Stuart Scott the shows usual host to take time away from the show. Unfortunately, Scott passed on January 4th, 2015 after his lengthy battle with cancer. Kobler- Scott’s friend and workmate was made a permanent host on the show after that.
Kobler has partnered with some heavy hitters over her time as a loved sports personality, she was a national spokesperson for Pepsi cola and Chevrolet and also featured on Sega’s ESPN’s NFL football game.

Married in 2008 to Husband Eric Brady after a two-year engagement the couple seem very happy together.
