Rick Santorum the infamous Senator of the American Parliament is a lawyer, advocate, and political analyst who was born in 1958 in May in Virginia. His parents were natives from Italy who migrated to the United States. Rick’s parents belonged to the medical field, his father, Aldo Santorum practiced as a psychologist while his mother, Catherine Santorum was a nurse. His family name is Richard John Santorum, but he is more famous by the alias of Rick Santorum in political circles.

Rick Santorum had to start his secondary school at Carmel High School in Mundelein, Illinois in 1976 owing to his family’s transfer to the Naval Station Great Lakes in northern Illinois.

Rick began his career in politics when he volunteered in the 1970s with Senator John Heinz and then served as Pennsylvania State Senator J. Doyle Corman’s Administrative Assistant from 1981-1986. Rick served as an associate attorney at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart in Pittsburgh from 1986-1990, after he finished law school.

In 1990, Rick Santorum left private law practice to work as a U.S. Congressman for the Pennsylvania 18th District, where he worked for two terms. From January 1991 to January 1995

According to him, even though they faced complications and were suggested to terminate the pregnancy during the time of his two children, he and his wife never considered because they are both firm believer of pro-life. In addition, he also condemns the ban on contraceptives, the death penalty, and the legalization of drug use. Though his religious background is strictly Catholic, he is not that popular among the believers. Still, he is vocal about his ideas and chooses to support them in parliament and media.
