Lindsay Ann Czarniak was born November 7th, 1977 to loving parents Terri and Chet at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was an only child until little brother Andrew came along in 1982 and the pair were inseparable. Lindsay in an interview recalls playing lots of different sports with her brother and father most weekends outside their family home once they moved to Clifton, Virginia.
Lindsay was destined to have a good career in sports as her mother was a principle of a high school and her father worked in the sports department at their local newspaper. She went to Highschool in Virginia- Centresville High then in 1997 she attended James Madison University where she was an active student who played sports and was in a sorority Sigma Kappa. She gained her degree in journalism in 2000.

It was while studying, Lindsay became an intern for WUSA a TV network in Washington D.C. Her first role after university was as an assistant producer at CNN.
Her first appearance on air would come in 2003, she was given the opportunity to report news while working for WAWS, a TV network in Jacksonville, Florida and The Speed Channel, a channel owned by The Fox Network that reported on all things sport.
In 2005 her big break would come when fellow journalist Michael George asked Lindsay to work on his show ‘Michael George Sports Machine’ as a co-host. Lindsay accepted and while working on the show she covered The Italian Winter Olympics in 2006, NASCAR national series and the race for IRP Busch. 2007 saw George Michael step down as a WRC-TV’s sports anchor, making way for Czarniak and her colleague, Dan Hellie to become co-sports anchors on the show. She was also a pit reporter for TNT’s six-race Sprint Cup Series schedule from Pocono to Chicago and continued with TNT in 2008.
In November 2007 Lindsay interviewed The Redskin team members after the death of one of their own. Sean Taylor a free safety for the team was shot in his home after an intruder broke in. He died the following day from the results of his injury.
2008 seen Lindsay cover The Beijing Olympics and host a 30-minute show every weekday during the Olympics on the Oxygen channel. The show was call Oxygen: Gymnastics and would see Lindsay discuss all the relevant news regarding the gymnastic teams competing.
June 2011 seen Lindsay leave her role on WRC-TV and join ESPN. She debuted in the August presenting the news from the NFL Preseason games. She then took over the role of ABC’s Indie 500 and became the first ever woman to report on the show. In 2017 her contract with sports giant ESPN ended leaving Lindsay at a crossroads. In 2018 she became a digital producer for Joe Gibbs Racing, developing content and interviewing all the teams during the Monster Energy cup series. In 2019 Lindsay signed a contract with Fox Sport to cover the NASCAR racing.

In 2008 after her work as a reporter from Beijing Olympics Lindsay met the new anchor for NBC4 live on air. The couple hit it off instantly and started dating shortly afterwards. All wasn’t plain sailing as after the couple dated for about 6 months Craig wanted to make it official, but Lindsay didn’t, they decided to break it off but remain friends. Over the next couple of months, the pair dated other people, but Craig knew that he didn’t want anyone else but Lindsay and decided to go after her one last time. He invited Lindsay for drinks in July and Lindsay knew there was something special about Craig. They again started dating keeping it quiet from other people. However, a few months in the couple opened up about their relationship and in 2010 the couple got engaged on a sailboat in Miami. The couple were married in 2011 and in 2014 the couple were expecting and had a son Delano and then two years later they had a daughter Sybil Ann. The couple are still married.
